Глава 13

1 Когда Иеровоам стоял у жертвенника, чтобы совершить воскурение, пришел по воле ГОСПОДНЕЙ из Иудеи в Бет-Эль человек Божий.

2 И обратился он к жертвеннику со словом ГОСПОДНИМ: «Жертвенник, жертвенник! Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ: „Родится в роде Давидовом сын по имени Иосия, и принесет он на тебе в жертву тех священников, что сейчас на тебе приносят жертвы, — сожжет на тебе человеческие кости!“»

3 В тот же день он дал знамение, сказав: «Вот каково знамение ГОСПОДА: расколется жертвенник, и осыплется с него зола!»

4 Услышав слова, которые человек Божий произнес над жертвенником в Бет-Эле, царь Иеровоам протянул руку прямо от жертвенника и приказал: «Взять его!» И высохла рука, которую он протянул, и больше не мог он ее опустить.

5 А жертвенник раскололся, и с него осыпалась зола согласно знамению, которое человек Божий дал по слову ГОСПОДНЮ.

6 «Прошу, помолись обо мне ГОСПОДУ, Богу твоему, — сказал царь человеку Божьему, — моли Его исцелить мою руку». Человек Божий помолился ГОСПОДУ, и рука царя стала такой, как прежде.

7 «Зайди в дом мой, подкрепись, я одарю тебя!» — сказал царь человеку Божьему.

8 Но человек Божий ответил царю: «Посули ты мне даже половину всего, что имеешь, не пойду я к тебе, не стану ни хлеба есть, ни воды пить в этом месте,

9 ибо велел мне ГОСПОДЬ: „Хлеба не ешь, воды не пей и на дорогу, которой пришел, не возвращайся“».

10 И ушел он другой дорогой, не возвращаясь на ту, которой пришел в Бет-Эль.

11 В Бет-Эле жил тогда один старый пророк. Пришли его сыновья и рассказали ему обо всем, что сделал в тот день человек Божий в Бет-Эле, и что сказал он царю, тоже передали отцу.

12 Отец расспросил у них, какой дорогой он ушел, ведь сыновья видели, по какой дороге отправился человек Божий, пришедший из Иудеи.

13 Тогда он велел сыновьям оседлать для него осла. Те оседлали ему осла, и он поехал верхом

14 вслед за человеком Божьим и застал того сидящим под дубом. «Ты ли человек Божий, что приходил из Иудеи?» — спросил он. Тот ответил: «Я».

15 Пророк предложил ему: «Зайди ко мне, поешь хлеба».

16 «Не могу я вернуться с тобой, — ответил тот, — не стану ни хлеба есть, ни воды пить у тебя в этом месте,

17 ибо повелел мне ГОСПОДЬ: „Хлеба не ешь там, воды не пей и на дорогу, которой пришел, не возвращайся“».

18 Тогда пророк сказал ему: «Я тоже пророк, как и ты, и ангел передал мне слово ГОСПОДНЕ: „Пригласи его вернуться и зайти к тебе, пусть он хлеба поест и воды выпьет“». Но он солгал.

19 И человек Божий возвратился с ним, поел хлеба и выпил воды.

20 Когда они сидели за столом, было слово Божье пророку, что вернул человека Божьего, пришедшего из Иудеи,

21 и воскликнул он: «Вот что говорит ГОСПОДЬ: ты ослушался ГОСПОДА, не выполнил повеления ГОСПОДА, твоего Бога:

22 ты свернул с пути, чтобы поесть хлеба и выпить воды там, где тебе было велено не принимать ни хлеба, ни воды. За это не лежать твоему телу в гробнице отцов твоих!»

23 И когда тот поел хлеба и выпил воды, пророк, вернувший его, оседлал для него своего осла,

24 и он отправился дальше. Но по дороге ему встретился лев и растерзал его. Труп его лежал на дороге, осел стоял рядом, и лев тоже стоял рядом с трупом.

25 Люди, что проходили мимо, увидели лежавший на дороге труп и льва рядом с трупом. Придя в город, где жил старый пророк, они рассказали об этом.

26 Услышал это пророк, который вернул его с дороги, и сказал: «Это человек Божий, что ослушался ГОСПОДА. ГОСПОДЬ отдал его льву, тот растерзал его до смерти, как и говорил ГОСПОДЬ».

27 Он велел сыновьям опять оседлать ему осла, и те оседлали.

28 Он поехал и увидел: труп лежит на дороге, и осел со львом стоят рядом, но лев не тронул ни труп, ни осла.

29 Пророк поднял труп человека Божьего, положил его на осла и повез обратно. Старый пророк вернулся в свой город, чтобы оплакать и похоронить его.

30 Он положил его тело в собственной гробнице и оплакивал: «О горе! Брат мой!»

31 Похоронив его, он велел сыновьям: «Когда я умру, похороните меня в гробнице, где лежит человек Божий. Рядом с его костями положите и мои кости!

32 Сбудется то, что сказал он по слову ГОСПОДНЮ о жертвеннике в Бет-Эле и о тех капищах на холмах, что стоят по городам Самарии».

33 Но и после этого не свернул Иеровоам со своего злого пути. Он по-прежнему ставил священниками на холмах кого угодно из всего народа. Кто ни пожелает, того он и ставил там священником.

34 И этот грех лег на род Иеровоама, привел его к гибели: был этот род стерт с лица земли.

Chapter 13

1 And, behold,2009 there came935 a man376 of God430 out of Judah3063 by the word1697 of the LORD3068 to Bethel:1008 and Jeroboam3379 stood5975 by the altar4196 to burn6999 incense.6999

2 And he cried7121 against5921 the altar4196 in the word1697 of the LORD,3068 and said,559 O altar,4196 altar,4196 thus3541 said559 the LORD;3068 Behold,2009 a child1121 shall be born3205 to the house1004 of David,1732 Josiah2977 by name;8034 and on you shall he offer2076 the priests3548 of the high1116 places that burn6999 incense6999 on you, and men's120 bones6106 shall be burnt8313 on you.

3 And he gave5414 a sign4159 the same1931 day,3117 saying,559 This2088 is the sign4159 which834 the LORD3068 has spoken;1696 Behold,2009 the altar4196 shall be rent,7167 and the ashes1880 that are on it shall be poured8210 out.

4 And it came1961 to pass, when king4428 Jeroboam3379 heard8085 the saying1697 of the man376 of God,430 which834 had cried7121 against5921 the altar4196 in Bethel,1008 that he put7971 forth7971 his hand3027 from the altar,4196 saying,559 Lay hold8610 on him. And his hand,3027 which834 he put7971 forth7971 against5921 him, dried3001 up, so that he could3201 not pull7725 it in again7725 to him.

5 The altar4196 also was rent,7167 and the ashes1880 poured8210 out from the altar,4196 according to the sign4159 which834 the man376 of God430 had given5414 by the word1697 of the LORD.3068

6 And the king4428 answered6030 and said559 to the man376 of God,430 Entreat2470 now4994 the face6440 of the LORD3068 your God,430 and pray6419 for me, that my hand3027 may be restored7725 me again.7725 And the man376 of God430 sought2470 the LORD,3068 and the king's4428 hand3027 was restored7725 him again,7725 and became1961 as it was before.7223

7 And the king4428 said1696 to the man376 of God,430 Come935 home1004 with me, and refresh5582 yourself, and I will give5414 you a reward.4991

8 And the man376 of God430 said559 to the king,4428 If518 you will give5414 me half2677 your house,1004 I will not go935 in with you, neither3808 will I eat398 bread3899 nor3808 drink8354 water4325 in this2088 place:4725

9 For so3651 was it charged6680 me by the word1697 of the LORD,3068 saying,559 Eat398 no3808 bread,3899 nor3808 drink8354 water,4325 nor3808 turn7725 again7725 by the same way1870 that you came.1980

10 So he went3212 another312 way,1870 and returned7725 not by the way1870 that he came935 to Bethel.1008

11 Now there dwelled3427 an old2205 prophet5030 in Bethel;1008 and his sons1121 came935 and told5608 him all3605 the works4639 that the man376 of God430 had done6213 that day3117 in Bethel:1008 the words1697 which834 he had spoken1696 to the king,4428 them they told5608 also to their father.1

12 And their father1 said1696 to them, What335 2088 way1870 went1980 he? For his sons1121 had seen7200 what834 way1870 the man376 of God430 went,1980 which834 came935 from Judah.3063

13 And he said559 to his sons,1121 Saddle2280 me the ass.2543 So they saddled2280 him the ass:2543 and he rode7392 thereon,5921

14 And went3212 after310 the man376 of God,430 and found4672 him sitting3427 under413 478 an oak:424 and he said559 to him, Are you the man376 of God430 that came935 from Judah?3063 And he said,559 I am.

15 Then he said559 to him, Come3212 home1004 with me, and eat398 bread.3899

16 And he said,559 I may3201 not return7725 with you, nor go935 in with you: neither3808 will I eat398 bread3899 nor3808 drink8354 water4325 with you in this2088 place:4725

17 For it was said1697 to me by the word1697 of the LORD,3068 You shall eat398 no3808 bread3899 nor3808 drink8354 water4325 there,8033 nor3808 turn7725 again7725 to go3212 by the way1870 that you came.1980

18 He said559 to him, I am a prophet5030 also1571 as you are; and an angel4397 spoke1696 to me by the word1697 of the LORD,3068 saying,559 Bring7725 him back7725 with you into413 your house,1004 that he may eat398 bread3899 and drink8354 water.4325 But he lied3584 to him.

19 So he went7725 back7725 with him, and did eat398 bread3899 in his house,1004 and drank8354 water.4325

20 And it came1961 to pass, as they sat3427 at413 the table,7979 that the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to the prophet5030 that brought7725 him back:7725

21 And he cried7121 to the man376 of God430 that came935 from Judah,3063 saying,559 Thus3541 said559 the LORD,3068 For as much3282 834 as you have disobeyed4784 the mouth6310 of the LORD,3068 and have not kept8104 the commandment4687 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 commanded6680 you,

22 But came7725 back,7725 and have eaten398 bread3899 and drunk8354 water4325 in the place,4725 of the which834 the Lord did say1696 to you, Eat398 no408 bread,3899 and drink8354 no408 water;4325 your carcass5038 shall not come935 to the sepulcher6913 of your fathers.1

23 And it came1961 to pass, after310 he had eaten398 bread,3899 and after310 he had drunk,8354 that he saddled2280 for him the ass,2543 to wit, for the prophet5030 whom834 he had brought7725 back.7725

24 And when he was gone,3212 a lion738 met4672 him by the way,1870 and slew4191 him: and his carcass5038 was cast7993 in the way,1870 and the ass2543 stood5975 by it, the lion738 also stood5975 by the carcass.5038

25 And, behold,2009 men582 passed5674 by, and saw7200 the carcass5038 cast7993 in the way,1870 and the lion738 standing5975 by the carcass:5038 and they came935 and told1696 it in the city5892 where834 the old2205 prophet5030 dwelled.3427

26 And when the prophet5030 that brought7725 him back7725 from the way1870 heard8085 thereof, he said,559 It is the man376 of God,430 who834 was disobedient4784 to the word6310 of the LORD:3068 therefore the LORD3068 has delivered5414 him to the lion,738 which has torn7665 him, and slain4191 him, according to the word1697 of the LORD,3068 which834 he spoke1696 to him.

27 And he spoke1696 to his sons,1121 saying,559 Saddle2280 me the ass.2543 And they saddled2280 him.

28 And he went3212 and found4672 his carcass5038 cast7993 in the way,1870 and the ass2543 and the lion738 standing5975 by the carcass:5038 the lion738 had not eaten398 the carcass,5038 nor3808 torn7665 the ass.2543

29 And the prophet5030 took5375 up the carcass5038 of the man376 of God,430 and laid3240 it on the ass,2543 and brought7725 it back:7725 and the old2205 prophet5030 came935 to the city,5892 to mourn5594 and to bury6912 him.

30 And he laid3240 his carcass5038 in his own grave;6913 and they mourned5594 over5921 him, saying, Alas,1945 my brother!251

31 And it came1961 to pass, after310 he had buried6912 him, that he spoke559 to his sons,1121 saying,559 When I am dead,4191 then bury6912 me in the sepulcher6913 wherein834 the man376 of God430 is buried;6912 lay3240 my bones6106 beside681 his bones:6106

32 For the saying1697 which834 he cried7121 by the word1697 of the LORD3068 against5921 the altar4196 in Bethel,1008 and against5921 all3605 the houses1004 of the high1116 places which834 are in the cities5892 of Samaria,8111 shall surely3588 come1961 to pass.

33 After310 this2088 thing1697 Jeroboam3379 returned7725 not from his evil7451 way,1870 but made6213 again7725 of the lowest7098 of the people5971 priests3548 of the high1116 places: whoever would,2655 he consecrated3027 him, and he became1961 one of the priests3548 of the high1116 places.

34 And this2088 thing1697 became1961 sin2403 to the house1004 of Jeroboam,3379 even to cut3582 it off, and to destroy8045 it from off the face6440 of the earth.127

11 В Бет-Эле жил тогда один старый пророк. Пришли его сыновья и рассказали ему обо всем, что сделал в тот день человек Божий в Бет-Эле, и что сказал он царю, тоже передали отцу.

11 Now there dwelled3427 an old2205 prophet5030 in Bethel;1008 and his sons1121 came935 and told5608 him all3605 the works4639 that the man376 of God430 had done6213 that day3117 in Bethel:1008 the words1697 which834 he had spoken1696 to the king,4428 them they told5608 also to their father.1

12 Отец расспросил у них, какой дорогой он ушел, ведь сыновья видели, по какой дороге отправился человек Божий, пришедший из Иудеи.

12 And their father1 said1696 to them, What335 2088 way1870 went1980 he? For his sons1121 had seen7200 what834 way1870 the man376 of God430 went,1980 which834 came935 from Judah.3063

13 Тогда он велел сыновьям оседлать для него осла. Те оседлали ему осла, и он поехал верхом

13 And he said559 to his sons,1121 Saddle2280 me the ass.2543 So they saddled2280 him the ass:2543 and he rode7392 thereon,5921

20 Когда они сидели за столом, было слово Божье пророку, что вернул человека Божьего, пришедшего из Иудеи,

20 And it came1961 to pass, as they sat3427 at413 the table,7979 that the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to the prophet5030 that brought7725 him back:7725

21 и воскликнул он: «Вот что говорит ГОСПОДЬ: ты ослушался ГОСПОДА, не выполнил повеления ГОСПОДА, твоего Бога:

21 And he cried7121 to the man376 of God430 that came935 from Judah,3063 saying,559 Thus3541 said559 the LORD,3068 For as much3282 834 as you have disobeyed4784 the mouth6310 of the LORD,3068 and have not kept8104 the commandment4687 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 commanded6680 you,

23 И когда тот поел хлеба и выпил воды, пророк, вернувший его, оседлал для него своего осла,

23 And it came1961 to pass, after310 he had eaten398 bread,3899 and after310 he had drunk,8354 that he saddled2280 for him the ass,2543 to wit, for the prophet5030 whom834 he had brought7725 back.7725

24 And when he was gone,3212 a lion738 met4672 him by the way,1870 and slew4191 him: and his carcass5038 was cast7993 in the way,1870 and the ass2543 stood5975 by it, the lion738 also stood5975 by the carcass.5038

25 Люди, что проходили мимо, увидели лежавший на дороге труп и льва рядом с трупом. Придя в город, где жил старый пророк, они рассказали об этом.

25 And, behold,2009 men582 passed5674 by, and saw7200 the carcass5038 cast7993 in the way,1870 and the lion738 standing5975 by the carcass:5038 and they came935 and told1696 it in the city5892 where834 the old2205 prophet5030 dwelled.3427

26 Услышал это пророк, который вернул его с дороги, и сказал: «Это человек Божий, что ослушался ГОСПОДА. ГОСПОДЬ отдал его льву, тот растерзал его до смерти, как и говорил ГОСПОДЬ».

29 Пророк поднял труп человека Божьего, положил его на осла и повез обратно. Старый пророк вернулся в свой город, чтобы оплакать и похоронить его.

29 And the prophet5030 took5375 up the carcass5038 of the man376 of God,430 and laid3240 it on the ass,2543 and brought7725 it back:7725 and the old2205 prophet5030 came935 to the city,5892 to mourn5594 and to bury6912 him.

30 Он положил его тело в собственной гробнице и оплакивал: «О горе! Брат мой!»

30 And he laid3240 his carcass5038 in his own grave;6913 and they mourned5594 over5921 him, saying, Alas,1945 my brother!251

31 Похоронив его, он велел сыновьям: «Когда я умру, похороните меня в гробнице, где лежит человек Божий. Рядом с его костями положите и мои кости!

31 And it came1961 to pass, after310 he had buried6912 him, that he spoke559 to his sons,1121 saying,559 When I am dead,4191 then bury6912 me in the sepulcher6913 wherein834 the man376 of God430 is buried;6912 lay3240 my bones6106 beside681 his bones:6106

32 Сбудется то, что сказал он по слову ГОСПОДНЮ о жертвеннике в Бет-Эле и о тех капищах на холмах, что стоят по городам Самарии».

32 For the saying1697 which834 he cried7121 by the word1697 of the LORD3068 against5921 the altar4196 in Bethel,1008 and against5921 all3605 the houses1004 of the high1116 places which834 are in the cities5892 of Samaria,8111 shall surely3588 come1961 to pass.

33 Но и после этого не свернул Иеровоам со своего злого пути. Он по-прежнему ставил священниками на холмах кого угодно из всего народа. Кто ни пожелает, того он и ставил там священником.

34 И этот грех лег на род Иеровоама, привел его к гибели: был этот род стерт с лица земли.

34 And this2088 thing1697 became1961 sin2403 to the house1004 of Jeroboam,3379 even to cut3582 it off, and to destroy8045 it from off the face6440 of the earth.127
